But did you know using this method of a foot soak can help out tremendously with this as well. Yep soak and let the magic work. You see it will help the swelling and inflammation around the ingrown toenail go down so it is easier and not as painful to remove.

Now I could have made a list a whole page long of different beneficial ways that this ever so simple foot soak could help you. However, I wanted to give you a general idea of what it could do. And these seem to be some of the most common ailments that people suffer with. So if you are suffering from a different type of problem and would like to know if this foot soak remedy could help you, please just ask and I will be happy to let you know what I found.

Would you be interested to see how this simple little concoction can be made?  I have found it to be super easy, very cost efficient, and to make it even better, with just one batch you can make enough to use 4 different times! Talk about a great deal!

How To Make Your Own!

I know, I know, who has time anymore to make something from scratch right? Well with this super simple recipe you do. Yep it might take about 5 to 10 minutes of your time to prepare this. The bonus is if you make just one batch you can divide it into 4 or more uses. Just mix and store till next time. It is that easy! Okay so now are you ready to get started? Well away we go!

  1. In a medium sized bowl you will need to mix
  2. 2 cups of Epsom salt
  3. 3 Tablespoons of baking soda
  4. About 15 drops of lavender oil
  5. And for an extra added touch you can add about 15 drops of Tea Tree oil
  6. Just for a little extra boost you can also add about 2 Tablespoons of dried lavender flowers.

Now all you have to is mix these ingredients together. Once they are well blended you will want to take and measure out 1/2 a cup. You can divide these up into small jars to store or gift the extra. See so super simple.

When you are ready to do an Epsom foot soak with lavender all you will need to do is run some warm water, pour into whatever type of basin you are going to be using to soak your feet, pour in the 1/2 cup of mix, stir and let dissolve, then soak! Yep that easy, see I told you.

Just a small side note, I do want to explain the best method to using this foot soak. This is what I have found that is recommended. First of all when you do a soak, it is best if you only allow your self to soak between 30-60 minutes at a time. And second, it is also best if you only do this between 2-3 times a week.

As I am sure you can see, this is super easy and quick. However, for some of you this still may not be the road you want to take and it would be much easier just to buy a product that is already mixed. So if that is the way you would rather go, I am sure you will love this next part!

Great Companies To Buy From!

Buying a premixed product can also be a great way to go. But where do you start? What are some good companies?

Well don’t worry I have some great answers for you! I have been doing some looking and I picked out what I consider to be the top 5 I would choose from personally. And yes of course I will share them with you!

Now how I decided these were good companies is I looked at their overall ratings from other customers. I choose the companies that not only had an overall good rating, but I also made sure there were plenty of ratings. This way I knew that multiple had purchased these products and that most of them had great things to say about them.

I mean greatness speaks in numbers. If several people are using this and are impressed, to me this say this company is really doing something right. Don’t you agree?  Okay well I will list these companies below for you, I also will include how many people did ratings on them and I also want to make sure you know where they are sitting with the 5 star rating system. So here you go enjoy!

  1. I am going to start with the company named Epsoak. Now for this company, 155 people did a rating with them. And out of those 155 people their average rating is a 4.5 stars out of 5 stars!
  2. Next I recommend Dr. Teal’s. They had 112 people give them a rating. With the rating ending up being an average overall of 4.5 also out of 5 possible stars.
  3. Relief MD. is the next one I choose. They had 98 people rate them. Which left them with a 4 out a possible 5 start review.
  4. Better Bath Better Body was my next choice. Not as meaning people leaving a review rating but they still had 74 people do it. And yet they still ended up 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.
  5. And lastly but not least, I think Sleep Salts would also be a good company. They had 42 people do a review for them and ultimately they gave them a 4.5 out 5 star review.

I am sure everyone has their own favorite company and believe me I am not here to say you are wrong at all. Your company that you choose could very well be one of the best. I was simply looking through to see companies that several people have used and stated that they were a good company. But if you do have another company I would love to know about them. This way I can share it with others as well.

Now of course Epsom salt and lavender are both very health beneficial products, however, there a few are a few circumstances in which you may either not want to use them or maybe you need to check with your Dr. first. I am happy to also provide these details for you.

Cautions You May Want To Check Out!

Although, both Epsom salt and lavender are miracle working products, when it comes to Epsom salt foot soak with lavender, there are a few people who really need to check with their Dr. before deciding this is the way to go for them.

To start off with if you are a diabetic, it would be very wise to check with your Dr. first. Since diabetes does most of the time have problems with their feet, this is one condition that I would say it would be best to ask your Dr. before you begin to use this.

Another instance is if you suffer from nerve damage, poor circulation, or even a recent injury to your feet, it would be highly recommend you seek your Dr. advice before using this. This treatment does affect different people in different ways, so it is always best to be safe than sorry.

One other thing I want to mention as a caution, is this type of treatment does have a tendency to dry out your skin, so make sure you moisturize afterwards. This will help you keep your skin from leaving some painful cracks. One other thing that could great help reduce this drying out effect is to make to drink plenty of water!

This can be a good remedy for you, just make sure you are using it right and that you don’t already suffer from something that this could end up being more harmful. As always if you are unsure, please ask your Dr. They know you better and what could be best for your body!

Are You Ready To Give It A Try?

Well what do you think? For me, this is a very easy and cheap remedy well worth a try. It can be a great and simple quick way to give yourself much need TLC. It is healthy and natural. So it has my thumbs up. But what about you? Does it sound like something you would be willing to try? Do you think you would try the homemade version or buy the already mixed?

Either way, I hope I have provided you with enough information that you can at least give this a good thought as to whether or not it would work for you. And if there is anything I have left out that you would like to know, please just ask! I will be more than happy to help you find the right answer.
